4 ideas to live free of stress amidst life's chaos.

In today's fast-paced world, stress has become an unwelcome companion for many. The demands of our jobs, relationships, and daily responsibilities can leave us feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. Stress often manifests as anxiety, which can, in turn, lead to various health issues. It's clear that stress is on the rise, and it's time we learn how to cope better with the chaos that life throws at us.
I understand this struggle all too well. Over 15 years ago, before I embarked on my journey as a Healer and Life Energy Coach, I was diagnosed with anxiety, stress, and depression. I spent most of my days feeling stressed out and burnt out. It was my reality, but deep down, I knew there had to be a better way to live.
Today, I can say that I've found that better way. I may not be stress-free all the time, but how I handle stress is remarkably different and far more rewarding. I've learned techniques that have brought more calm and peace in my life, and I'd like to share them with you.
Here are my top 4 tips for stress reduction.
1. Get connected & get in the flow..
Living in 'the flow' is about feeling fully present, connected, and at peace. It's about not allowing the chaos around you to rile you up. It's about taking things for what they are instead of blowing them out of proportion. When you feel connected, you feel good inside because you're being true to yourself.
Try This: Imagine or feel a beautiful white universal light flowing down from above, entering your head, and travelling down through your body, right into your feet. Let it continue into the Earth until it feels warm and loving. Then, allow the light to flow back up through your feet, reaching your chest. Be aware of your breathing and let it slow down. Stay in this state until you feel at peace.
2. Walking Meditation
I personally love walking, and it's a great time to engage in a mini meditation. When you're out walking, tune in to the sounds around you—birds singing, leaves rustling, the elements. As you do this, everything else in your mind starts to switch off.
Try This: Start with just 15 seconds (don't be surprised; this isn't a typo) and then gradually increase the time. It's like building a muscle; the more you practice, the stronger it becomes.
3. Slow Down Your Breathing
An instant calmer you can do anywhere, anytime. When you find yourself becoming overwhelmed or stressed, try this simple breathing exercise.
Try This:
Take a deep breath in slowly for a count of 3 (1, 2, 3).
Exhale slowly for a count of 3 (1, 2, 3).
As you get comfortable, extend the count to 4, then 5. You'll notice how instantly you feel calmer and more at peace.
4. Journal
In the midst of life's chaos, your journal is a sanctuary for your thoughts. Pour your worries, fears, and joys onto its pages and let them be your confidants. Through journaling, you'll find clarity and solace, untangling the knots of stress one word at a time.
Remember, living a beautiful life is within your reach. Embrace these techniques, and may your days be filled with a sense of calm & clarity.
Love & Light,
